There are so many ways to advocate and speak about what you're passionate about. I just so happen to use paint and canvas. I feel very strongly about social justice and I believe that putting my thoughts down in paint is a perfect combination for a visual and social punch in the face.

I've always been drawing and experimenting with different kinds of materials. Some of my paintings now have been finger painted and I love the texture the pallet knife gives. People are interesting to me, so as long as I can take liberty with their face, I'm happy to screw it up with colors that don't make sense and a just enough of an edge to make people say "really?"
